I am trying to take the boys to visit their greatgrandparents on a weekly basis. I know how very lucky that they are to have great grandparents around that are still active. Coleton goes straight inside and has his freshly popped popcorn, and gets the old metal trucks and tractors out of the cubbord. He likes to sit on the floor by the davenport and play with the same toys that we played with as kids. And my dad played with as a kid too. They DEFINATELY don't make em' like that anymore.
This week grandpa took Coleton out to the barn and picked out a sled for him that was just his size. He was so excited. Plus, no trip to the barn is complete without sitting on a tractor. I cannot wait until spring when Coleton can garden with grandpa and watch the plants grow. Dirt is right up his alley.
